2024/2025 Year Review

This past year has been filled with excitement as we recognize and celebrate the many accomplishments of our lab!

Grant Awards:

- The Ravanfar Lab has been awarded a prestigious ACS Petroleum Research Fund (PRF) grant to support our research on Photocatalytic Pathways for C–H Bond Activation in Heme-containing Proteins. We’re honored by this recognition and grateful for the support from ACS PRF as we continue to explore innovative directions in bioinorganic chemistry.

​Awards and Honors:

- Congratulations, Sid! Sid was awarded financial support through Texas Tech TrUE Scholars Undergraduate program as a Fall 2025 Associate Research Scholar (ARS) on his research in Ravanfar Lab.

- Raheleh was awarded a plaque from Faculty Mentorship Academy in 2025.

- Raheleh was awarded a medallion from President's STEM Mentoring Academy.

- Raheleh was recognized as an Honored Mentor by Phi Beta Kappa in 2025.

- Raheleh was accepted in Faculty Mentoring Academy in Fall 2024.
